Tagore Award Announcement for 2019: Narayana Hegde selected as Senior Reporter

Haveri: The Tagore Award, announced annually by the Uttarakhand District Central Working Journalists Association, has been selected for the 2019 award by Narayana Hegade, a senior Kannada reporter for the district. He was accompanied by senior reporter PK Chapagavankara and senior cameraman Dinesh Hittaladavar.

Narayana Hegde is a native of Ankola Taluk in Uttarakannadu district and started his career as a spare reporter of Kannada newspaper in 2004. He served for two years in the United Karnataka Diary and has served as the Yanagiri District Reporter for three years, working as an assistant reporter for the Kannada newspaper in 2008. He is currently working as a senior reporter for Kannada in Haveri from 2013 to date.

All reporters including District Karnataka Journalists Association, District Working Journalists’ Association congratulated Bhajanaraja Narayana Hegde for the award.
